(by Guerin Emig) NORMAN -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops used his first radio call-in show of the year Tuesday night to announce that walk-on Patrick O'Hara would be the Sooners' kicker.

As recently as late last week, Stoops was dismayed that none of his four kickers had done enough during preseason camp to earn the job. All, he said, had struggled with consistency.

By Tuesday afternoon, Stoops had made a decision. He didn't make it public at his weekly press conference, since he hadn't met with the kickers to reveal his choice....read more from the Tulsa World
