(by Chuck Carlton) Texas A&M has been offered and accepted a bid to the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, a source familiar with the process confirmed this afternoon.

Expect an official announcement soon, maybe as early as today. (UPDATE: A&M has confirmed in an e-mail press release that it has officially accepted).
