Four sportswriters voted OSU No. 1 in the final AP Poll for the 2011 season. The only Oklahoma writer voting in the poll was John Shinn of The Norman Transcript who voted the Pokes No. 3. The four who think the Cowboys are better than LSU and Alabama are:
