(by AP) KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Keiton Page scored 19 of his 24 points in a dominating first half, and Oklahoma State withstood a brief rally in the season’s third Bedlam game to beat Oklahoma 81-67 on Wednesday night in the opening round of the Big 12 tournament.
Oklahoma State (22-9) raced to an 18-point lead in the first six minutes, then allowed Oklahoma to creep back in it with a shaky start to the second half. Obi Muonelo kept the Sooners from completing the comeback, scoring 10 of his 15 points after the rally to send the seventh-seeded Cowboys into Thursday’s quarterfinals against ninth-ranked Kansas State, the No. 2 seed....read more from SoonerSports.com

(by OU Media Relations) Oklahoma (13-17 overall, 4-12 Big 12) plays a first-round Big 12 Championship game Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT when it faces Oklahoma State (21-9, 9-7) inside Kansas City's Sprint Center. The 10th-seeded Sooners, who have lost eight straight games, own a 19-10 Big 12 Championship record and are 14-6 in the event in Kansas City. Oklahoma State has won five of its last seven games and is the tournament's No. 7 seed. Wednesday's game will air on the Sooner Radio Network with Bob Barry Sr. and Mike Houck calling the action. (by Guerin Emig) NORMAN — The injured ankle that kept Willie Warren from half of Oklahoma's Big 12 Conference games this year might also keep him from turning pro.
"I'm focused on getting my ankle full strength, because if it isn't at full strength, I really don't have a choice to make. It's going to be coming back to Oklahoma," the sophomore guard said Monday afternoon. (by Guerin Emig) KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Tiny Gallon, the enigmatic freshman who has flashed his potential this season for Oklahoma, has decided he’ll build on that potential as a sophomore.
“I’m going to come back another year,” Gallon declared Tuesday, the day before OU’s Big 12 first-round game against Oklahoma State. “That’s for sure.”

(by Guerin Emig) Anyone who has watched Oklahoma play basketball the last several weeks realizes the Sooners need a transfusion. They added Cameron Clark and T.J. Taylor during the early signing period. That's a start, but much more is needed.

Displaying their physical brand of suffocating defense, the No. 23 Aggies smothered Oklahoma, 69-54, Saturday at Lloyd Noble Center.

"It seems like just yesterday we were here running sprints," said Gerber, who earned his first career start.

(by Clark Foy) The Sooners wrapped up their regular season with a 69-54 loss to the No. 23 Texas A&M Aggies.
Senior Day was celebrated in honor of the team’s graduating seniors that were playing their last game at Lloyd Noble Center. Along with seniors Tony Crocker and Ryan Wright, forward Beau Gerber made the starting lineup – the first start of his long career as a Sooner.
A 14-3 run midway through the first half put the Sooners up 23-15 with just under 8 minutes to play in the half. The run was ignited by OU’s shooting from behind the 3-point arc as they started 5-7 from deep....read more from The Oklahoma Daily
