(by AP) AUSTIN, Texas - Senior Damion James scored 24 points in his final home game for struggling Texas, and the Longhorns (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today) rallied for an 87-76 win over Oklahoma on Monday night. Earlier in the day, Texas (23-7, 9-6 Big 12) became the first team since Indiana in 1980 to reach No. 1 and then later drop out of The Associated Press rankings. Texas started 17-0 to reach No. 1 for the first time in school history in January.
