(by Guerin Emig) Just in case she hasn't made herself clear, Oklahoma women's basketball coach Sherri Coale wants to be counted as an opponent of the Big 12 Conference's apparently likely merger with the Pac-10.

"The disconcerting part of this is our conference has built such a special brand. I honestly believe it's college athletics in its purest form," Coale told the Tulsa World in an interview Thursday.
